17th Arodus 18 - Miro vs Miro - The Reckoning

During the early hours they had agreed that their target obviously couldn't be found as they or it was hiding in the dreams of the towns folk, so they decide to sleep in the same room hoping that if an dream encounter were to happen they would all be involved.

Miro is awoken by a kick to his groin, as he looks up through watery eyes he takes a second to try and make sense of what he sees.

Standing over the halfling was well another Miro!

“We need to talk, Now!” the other Miro says,

Miro gets up from the floor and attempts to wake the rest of the group but he has no luck,

“You're a disappointment and a let down so I'm here to take over from you again and get rid of you permanently!” The other Miro explains with a smirk,

The Miro's exchange words but as with all things Miro it soon devolves into a sword fight,

Both Miro's go for each other for a number of rounds, occasionally hitting each other with little affect,

Eventually Natalia and Vaneer stir from their slumbers to hear the commotion nearby and quickly make their way towards the noise where to their shock find themselves looking at two Miros with blood splatter all over the place and the fighters,

Both Miro's notice the two spectators and before anything else can happen one Miro stabs the other in the back killing him and as the halfling drops to the ground he mutters “But! I'm the good one...why!!”

The corpse of the slain Miro then disappears taking with it all his loot causing the other Miro to drop to his knees screaming in disappointment confirming to both Vaneer and Natalia that the Miro in front of them was unfortunately their Miro.
