He also asks them to restore the hill’s environment to something more natural than its current strange state, if they can.
Completion: Explore Whiterose Hill and remove the strange aura or curse that infuses it.
Reward: The grateful Ilamanor is willing to part with his wand of cure critical wounds (35 charges), a scroll of legend lore and a scroll of greater restoration as a reward for the heroes’ service.

Task: The PCs must travel to Whiterose Abbey without the support of an army to investigate whether Pitax is creating a “super weapon”. A stealth operation has a much greater chance of catching the on-site staff unprepared. Second (and perhaps more important), if the rumours are true and Irovetti’s men have developed a mass cloudkill device, an army would have little chance against its devastating effects. The PCs goal at Whiterose is to determine whether such a device exists, and if it does to destroy it.

onto the sword will result in powerful barbarians challenging them in mortal
combat, the Temple of Gorum becoming hostile, towns being assaulted by
barbarian tribes and the constant threat of a third Armag.
Task: Take Ovinbaane to Pharasma’s Graveyard where
all mortals are judged, locate the gravestone of the wielder and strike it
three times with the sword to completely destroy the weapon and send Armag’s
soul to final judgement.
Completion: Destroy Ovinbaane.

Saving the Bog
Strider - Completed

Task: Release Ka-Kekt from his prison hut at area
N4 from his boggard captors; the bog strider is resourceful and knows the
swamp, so the PCs need not escort him to his home.
Completion: Travel to Tok-Nikrat to make sure that
Ka-Kekt got home safely.
Reward: In thanks for saving his son, Tok-Tekt names
the “landwalker” PCs “Bog Friends.” The
bog striders have no material wealth to share, but Tok-Tekt and his kin are
quite knowledgeable about Hooktongue Slough and can inform the PCs of most
encounter areas in the swamp.

Task: Tiressia has heard of a very rare flower
blooming in abundance north of the Hooktongue Marshes and believes that she has

ever wiped out by misfortune, however she needs a careful nature-savvy agent to
retrieve them for her.
Completion: Carefully extract a dozen Hail Lilies
with their root material intact along with some of their native soil and
transport them to Tiressia.
Reward: Tiressia rewards anyone that can complete
her request with two doses of Restorative
Ointment.

Reward: Quanchy has
promised a reward of 6,000 gp for the first delivery of a usable elasmosaurus

a magnificent stallion named Windchaser that’s said to live west of the swamp.
She’s promised a sizable reward if someone can bring her one of Windchaser’s
herd to add to her stable.
Completion: Deliver one of
the wild horses of the western Slough to Jennavieve, alive and well.
Reward: Jennavieve will
pay 4,000 gp for the horse.

Escorting the
Refugees - Completed

Task: Escort the refugees to Wyvernshore. The route the PCs take to get the refugees to
safety is irrelevant, as long as most of the refugees survive.
Completion: At least a dozen refugees must live to
reach safety.
Reward: If the PCs deliver at least a dozen
refugees, word of their good deed spreads and they gain a +1 bonus to their
national Loyalty. If the PCs deliver all 18, this increase to Loyalty rises to

Terrion Numesti) from the dungeons below Drelev Keep, save her sister (Tamary Numesti)
from the Tiger Lord barbarians and finally liberate Fort Drelev and its
citizens from the Tiger Lords.
Completion: The three portions of this quest can be
completed in any order:
Kisandra’s father and sister must be delivered to safety
from their respective locations - Fort Drelev counts as a safe location once it
is secured. To liberate Fort Drelev, the
PCs must earn 20 Liberation Points in the
city and kill the mercenary/barbarian leaders.
Reward: Completing this quest may allow the PCs to
annex Fort Drelev and its lands. Furthermore,
as this is a three-part quest, its completion earns the PCs three times as many
experience points - for completing this quest, they’ll earn 38,400 XP.

Varnhold Treasure - Completed
Source: The PCs are not assigned this quest, although if they rescue any
surviving Varnhold citizens the citizens ask for the return of their
belongings.
Task: Ensure that the citizens of Varnhold recover as much of their
belongings as possible.
Completion: The PCs must not loot any of the treasure remaining in Varnhold (with
the exception of scrolls in the church of Erastil), or if they do they must
return the items, In addition, the Varnhold treasure (excludes Skybolt)
held by Agai, the spriggan leader, must be returned as well.
Reward: If the PCs keep all this treasure and that fact becomes known,
increase their nation’s Unrest by 1d4+2. If the PCs make sure that the wealth
of the villagers remains safe and is returned to them once the villagers are
rescued, the resulting goodwill increases the PCs reputation and this increases
Loyalty by +1.

Task: Vordakai has gained ownership of a fae artifact known as the Oculus
of Ranalc and has been using it to help further his hostile takeover of the

Completion: Retrieve the Oculus of Ranalc from Vordakai.
Reward: The PCs are granted temporary ownership of the Oculus of Ranalc,
but must return it to Emissary when he requests it, regardless of timing and
situation; failure to do so will trigger the effects of a powerful Geas
that will permanently reduce all stats by 2 for party members, their successors
or offspring. For accepting this quest the PCs are rewarded with
information pertaining to Vordakai and are given a Rod of Splendor.

Stolen Lands seeking one of the institution’s professors, a man named Ervil

obscure clue about ancient Iobaria, but he didn’t actually arrange for a leave
of absence and has been uncontactable by magical means.
Completion: Find Ervil and convince him to return to his post in Oppara.
Reward: Jemanda will reward whoever finds the missing professor with a fully
charged Wand of Lesser Restoration.

deceased into hostile undead creatures. Blooms look like red crystalline trees,
but shatter when struck by a weapon forged from cold iron or if attacked with
powerful positive energy.
Completion: Destroy all five red tree blooms.
Reward: If the PCs manage to destroy the red tree blooms, they will avert a
catastrophe which would have seen waves of undead rising up, intent on
consuming their kingdom.

Task: A heroic centaur from many centuries ago has arisen from the grave and

in combat, cleanse the evil that holds his body in check and grant it eternal
peace.
Completion: Put a stop to the undead centaur who rides through Nomen Plains.
Reward: The PCs end a threat that would continue to persist and harry them in
their near future.

Completion: Send the egg to Wyvernshore and inform Beven that the egg has been
obtained.
Reward: The excitement involved for the omelette-cooking competition results
in a surge of money and trade for Dragonmere, increasing the kingdom’s treasury
by 1d4+3 Build Points.

will remain unfriendly (at best) and cannot be swayed by any means other than
the bow’s return. In addition, increase Dragonmere’s Unrest by 1d4. Completing
this quest earns the trust of the Nomen centaur, who may have valuable
information to share with the PCs and may offer an additional quest.

brooch.
Completion: Find Tomin (or Tomin's brooch) and return to Edrist.
Reward: Edrist will reward 1,000gp to those that bring back proof regarding
his brother's fate.

Task: Slay the Fellnight Queen.

fellnight hordes.
Reward: The destruction of the Queen brings no additional monetary gain, but

medicinal herbs and asks for one shambling mound's worth of sap.
Completion: Deliver the sap to the herbalist.
Reward: The herbalist can pay 600 gp for the sap and provide 3 potions of cure
moderate wounds.

Hunting
the Beasts - Completed
Source: No one assigns the PCs this quest—the attack on their kingdom should
spur them into action
Task: Slay the enormous magical beasts rampaging through Wyvernshore!
Completion: Either one month after the beasts are defeated (when it becomes
obvious that the peril is no more) or immediately upon displaying physical
proof of the monsters' defeat in public (such as a head or a claw), the PCs’
kingdom gains the quest reward.
Reward: The destruction of the beasts brings no additional monetary gain, but
the feat bolsters the kingdom’s morale, the PCs’ fame, and the safety of all.
Increase Economy, Loyalty and Stability by 1 and reduce Unrest to 0. Once the
entire Greenbelt has been explored and all threats have been dealt with,
increase Economy, Loyalty and Stability by another 1.

Task: Slay the trolls that plague the Greenbelt and eradicate both their

cause any remaining trolls to disperse to the south, seeking easier prey
elsewhere.
Reward: Once word of the PCs’ success reaches Restov, the swordlords reward
them not only by sending the PCs 2,500 gp, but they also send additional
support for their kingdom in the form of 10 BP.

Task: Rumours of a dragon haunting the southern Greenbelt are overstated.
The evidence indicates that the source of the rumours is a forest drake. In any
event it's decimating local wildlife and needs to be dealt with.
Completion: Find the forest drake, kill it, and return its head as proof.
Alternately, the addition of a forest drake could certainly turn a small kobold
unit into a fearsome drake-bound shock troop.
Reward: Aria has a Scroll of Reincarnate that she will give to the first
group to successfully slay the forest drake in the Greenbelt.

Task: A ferocious worg stalks the Kamelands! His name is
Howl-of-the-North-Wind and he's been eating bandits and hunters alike for

needs to be slain before he acquires a taste for the citizenry!
Completion: Kill the worg and display his body in town for citizens to see.
Reward: Akiros will reward a Metamagic rod of Lesser Extend to those
who slay Howl-of-the-North-Wind.

Task: Krakil, a local kobold alchemist, has a theory that trolls' blood can
serve as a catalyst during the creation of healing potions. But until he gets a

Completion: Deliver a waterskin filled with troll blood to the alchemist. He
doesn't need more than one waterskin, so one troll donor should do the trick.
Reward: The alchemist promises a reward of 1,500 gp in potions, deliverable
one week after the blood is brought in.

Task: Old Beldame uses the sporepods inside of black rattlecap mushrooms to

Completion: Having already defeated the hideous guardian of the Mud Bowl, the PCs
can harvest several black rattlecaps. Old Beldame wants as many as the PCs can
bring her.
Reward: Old Beldame promises a payment of 100 gp for every black rattlecap the
PCs can bring her.

at stake!
Completion: Kill the hodag and bring its head to Stas so he can show it to his
friends. That’ll learn ’em!
Reward: In gratitude, Stas promises his +1 keen spear as a reward.

Task: Whilst in New Stetven the group meet Lily Teskertin, owner of the
Laughing Fox Inn. Lily has always loved the workmanship of fine elven crafting
but does not own such a piece. She has heard rumours of old elven ruins in the
Stolen Lands and would be ever so grateful to anyone that could find the ruins
and salvage an example of ancient elven workmanship.
Completion: Find a statuette of fine elven craftmanship and return it to Lily.
Reward: Lily will offer 2,000 gp (and perhaps a bit more than that) for such a
statue.

worry. Finding him will increase the kingdom's morale.
Completion: Find Tig (at 'The Spring Feast') and deliver him safely home.
Rewards: If Tig is reunited with his parents, increase the kingdom's Loyalty by
1.

Melianse’s Trees - Completed

Task: Melianse doesn’t care how the PCs replace the five trees, nor does she
care what kind of trees they replace the felled ones with. She simply wants
five trees back to help restore the “balance” of her home.
Completion: The easiest solution to this quest involves gathering five tree
feather tokens and placing them near the sites of the five felled trees.
Reward: Not only does Melianse agree to release the two charmed lumberjacks
from her control, she gladly agrees to keep an eye out along the Greenbelt’s
rivers for any trouble or rumours of danger. Increase the kingdom’s Stability
by 2.

Task: Tiressia wants the PCs to slay the scythe tree—if possible, without
causing excessive damage to the surrounding forest.
Completion: Once the scythe tree is slain, Tiressia learns of the event swiftly as
the deed is whispered among the branches and roots of the Narlmarches.
Reward: Tiressia gives the PCs all of her combat gear in reward. In addition,
she also promises to aid the PCs in guarding the Narlmarches and keep them
updated about threats within its borders. Increase the kingdom’s Stability by
1.

Tomb
Treasure - Completed
Source: Treasure map found in the Mad Hermit’s den.
Task: A few minutes spent deciphering the scrawls and faded shapes on this
map are enough to recognize that the map seems to point the way to a hidden
burial cairn somewhere in the Kamelands between the Gudrin and Shrike rivers,
due east of the northern shores of the Tuskwater. A potent weapon is said to be
hidden within this tomb, although the map vaguely warns of traps and an undead
guardian who stole out of the tomb to reclaim the magic weapon once before.
Following this map leads the PCs directly to the Lonely Barrow.
Completion: By following the map, the PCs come to the Lonely Barrow, wherein the
weapons promised in the map can be found.
Reward: The reward for this quest is the weapon’s recovery.

That Damn
Turtle! - Completed
Source: Arven the fisherman.
Task: Arven has a secret fishing hole on the east bank of the Tuskwater, but
now an ill-tempered beast has claimed the spot. The beast in question is a
semi-legendary hookjaw turtle named Old Crackjaw. Kill him!
Completion: Kill (or drive off) Old Crackjaw from Arven’s secret fishing hole.
Reward: Arven will give whoever helps him a ring of feather falling (he
found it in a pike’s stomach).

The Stag Lord - Completed
Source: Official charter from Restov, collected from a messenger at Oleg's
Trading Post after defeating Kessler stating that the Stag Lord is wanted
"Dead of Alive" and that if he can be removed from power, the PCs
will be rewarded greatly.
Task: Kill or Capture the Stag Lord.
Completion: Word of the Stag Lord's defeat must be sent Restov - if his body is
not available as proof, an agent of Brevoy shall arrive in the area shortly to
confirm the banditry has been addressed.
Reward: 6,000gp, plus a new charter....(Once the greenbelt has been fully
explored)

Revenge - Completed
Source: Encountering Davik, the undead guardian of Nettles' Crossing.
Task: In order to aid Davik in getting revenge, the PCs must seek out and
slay the Stag Lord.
Completion: Only when the Stag Lord's head is thrown into the waters of the Shrike
can Davik find peace. When the PCs do this, the undead menace lurches up from
the river to grab the Stag Lord's remains and pull it down into the water
forever.
Reward: As soon as the Stag Lord's body is given over to the river, Davik's
magic gear washes onto the shore at the PC's feet, a final gift from the
grateful undead.

Task: A mercenary Kesten worked with months ago was a Varisian man named

become a bandit. Kesten hopes to catch him alive and return him to Restov for
punishment.
Completion: Capture Falgrim Sneeg, alive if possible.
Reward: Kesten can arrange a reward of five masterwork weapons of the
capturer's choice if Falgrim is delivered alive. If he's delivered dead, Kesten
can only promise two weapons.

Task: The way everyone talks about tatzlwyrms one might think they’re
swarming throughout the Stolen Lands. This isn’t the case; they’re actually
quite rare. A tatzlwyrm head would be a great conversation piece at the Closed
Cask tavern in Restov and so the proprietor, Mervin Aimes has promised a reward
for anyone who can procure one.
Completion: Slay a tatzlwyrm and deliver its head to Oleg for transportation.
Reward: Mervin will send a payment of 600gp for a relatively undamaged
tatzlwyrm head.

Completion: Bring Bokken enough berries to make fangberry juice for seven potions.
Reward: Bokken gives the PCs a 25% discount on all potions.

Reward: Vekkel has promised his masterwork longbow, six +1 animal bane
arrows, six +1 magical beast bane arrows and six +1 dragon bane
arrows to whoever can kill Tuskgutter. He also promises to share the head

Task: Jhod asks the PCs to seek out a lost temple of Erastil somewhere to
the south-west. He warns them that a large bear will be guarding the site, and
that something isn't quite "right" about the bear.
Completion: If the PCs discover the temple's site Jhod implores them to put the
tortured bear to rest and escort him to the temple. Jhod or a worshiper of
Erastil must restore the temple to functionality.
Reward: Jhod agrees to provide all of his spellcasting for free to the PCs for
life (with the exception of expensive material components, which the PCs must
still supply).

Bandits - Completed

Greenbelt need to be shown that their actions will not be tolerated. Capture or
kill at least six of them to send a message.
Completion: Any six bandits defeated completes this quest.
Reward: One week after the sixth defeat, bandit activity is noticeably
affected and the Swordlords send a reward of 500gp.

Radish Tonic – Completed

Task: Oleg’s been under a lot of stress lately, and his eczema is starting
to flair up. Svetlana knows that Oleg has used a tonic made from Moon Radishes
to cure his eczema in the past and would like to make some. Unfortunately, moon
radishes are relatively rare. A patch grows about 16 miles south of the trading
post.
Completion: Bring Svetlana a basket of moon radishes.
Reward: Svetlana is ready to pay 250 gp in goods to anyone who can bring her
enough moon radishes to make a tonic.

Task: Although his wife claims it’s not a big loss compared to what the
bandits could have taken, Oleg knows the theft of her wedding ring has
distressed her. She’s forbidden him from risking life and limb to recover it,
but if anyone else can find the ring and return it to him, he’ll be very
grateful.
Completion: Track down the ring. The bandits were the last to have it, but they
might have lost or sold it already.
Reward: Oleg promises 1,000 gp in trading post credit if his wife’s ring can
be recovered.

Kobolds
in the Hills – Completed

Task: The Sootscale kobolds dwell in a cave somewhere in the Kamelands.
Normally not a problem, they’ve been riled up by something lately. Find their
lair and ensure that the kobolds aren’t going to continue being a threat.
Completion: Either slay the kobolds or forge an alliance of peace with them.
Reward: The Swordlords will send a reward of 800gp once the kobold activity is
under control.

Sacred Statue – Completed

Task: The PCs must liberate the sacred statue from the mites and deliver it
to the Sootscale kobolds
Completion: The PCs must deliver the statue to either Shaman Tartuk or Chief
Sootscale.
Reward: Delivering the statue to Tartuk will result in a 500gp topaz, a
human’s ring and two magical items. Delivering the statue to Chief Sootscale
may result in an alliance with the Sootscale tribe.

The Nomen Problem - Refused

Task: The Nomen Centaurs have long caused trouble for southern Brevoy.
Violent and territorial, they are a constant thorn in the side of any attempt
to settle and civilise the eastern Stolen Lands.
Completion: Either drive the Nomen Centaurs out of the Stolen Lands, or completely
wipe them out!
Reward: For eradicating the Nomen, House Surtova are willing to pay a
20,000 gp reward.

Task: Sepoko, ashamed at falling under the control of the “Legless Lady”, asks the PCs to seek out the naga at the Swamp Scar and slay her.
Completion: Return to Sepoko with the naga’s severed head as proof of her death.
Reward: With the naga slain, Sepoko vows to keep his boggards in line and won’t meddle in river traffic—he’ll let trade pass by unmolested from his people. Further, he’ll give the PCs the box of Taldan-stamped gold ingots from his secret treasury as a reward.
